Diet Smoothies for Weight Loss
Diet smoothies for weight loss are great meal replacements, but they can also be very tasty.
One day I was just experimenting with a new smoothie and being that it was Fall, I decided I had a taste for pumpkin. I thought this mixture was perfect.
This smoothie will keep you full for about 2 or 3 hours, so it’s good to have a healthy snack close by for later.
I couldn’t believe that I used unsweetened Almond milk for this recipe! The sweetness will surprise you!
Steak ‘n’ Shake Pumpkin Spice Milkshake
Although the Steak ‘n’ Shake Pumpkin Spice Milkshake looks delicious, beware of its nutritional facts.
One regular Pumpkin Spice Milkshake has 640 Calories, 18 grams of fat, and 111 grams of carbohydrates!
If you are anything like me, when you walk into a restaurant of this type, the first thing you notice are the signs and pictures of their famous milkshakes posted everywhere.
Next thing you know, you’re at the register ordering a large Pumpkin Spice Milkshake instead of the garden salad you had intended on getting.
I know it takes the fun out of it when looking at the details, but if you’re serious about trying to lose weight or maintain weight, these things are very important.
Most restaurants today, are required to list the calories of each food item on the menu, but that’s just the calories.
Seeing the calories is “bad news” enough, but they don’t reveal the additional nutritional information, that is also very important.
Yes, it’s important to know how many calories is in the foods we eat, but if it’s primarily from fiber and protein, it’s much better than if it’s from sugar, saturated fat, trans fat, and unhealthy carbs.

My Recommendation
I would recommend using a larger blender.
The Ninja BL770 Mega Kitchen Blender/Food Processor has everything you need to make all your favorite smoothies, although the one I own is the BL660.
If I could do it again, I would have get the BL770 instead because of the extra attachments.
eBAY has a great deal on it right now too!
