#1. Smart Flushing Fluids

Consuming three metabolism-boosting cocktails a day and three skinny smoothies and staying well-hydrated drinking cran-water and filtered water between meals can elevate metabolism by at least 3 percent.

 

* Special Note about “Cran-Water”

For those individuals who are used to juices with added sugar may find the cran-water mixture really tart, but don’t worry. As you sip this fat flushing water daily, the taste buds will become accustomed to the taste without the added sugar.

If the cran-water is too tart for you, start off by diluting with a bit more water and work up to the full 4 ounces of pure unsweetened cranberry juice and 28 ounces of filtered water.

Watch out for labels stating, “100% Juice, No sugar added” on the cranberry juice bottles. What I’ve discovered was the juice was actually from a 4-juice blend and other concentrates.

For best results, look for things like 100%, Organic, Pure, Unsweetened, and Not from Concentrate, regardless of the brand. Some juices will say unsweetened, but then in the fine ingredients, you may find fructose listed. Also, many juices that say “100% Juice” will still have 30+ grams of sugar (carbohydrates) in them!

When researching this topic, I found this recommendation:

  • 2 tablespoons Organic Cranberry Juice Concentrate
  • 1 quart of filtered water

or

  • 4 ounces unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 28 ounces filtered pure water

Don’t Take My Word…

 

Don’t take my word for it!  There are lots of reviews and testimonials found online from people who have gone through with this detox.

I, myself have just finished the last day of the 3-day tune-up.

 

 

Day-1 of the Detox - Starting Weight

Day-1

After day-1, the first thing I noticed pretty soon after starting this detox, I noticed I was extremely sleepy, weak, and feeling zoned out.

After chatting with a group I joined on Facebook, “Fat Flush Nation”, I realized the symptoms are very individualized.  Meaning the symptoms vary depending on the person.

Just to give you a heads up, the cran-water along with the other six drinks makes you pee a lot!!

I suppose that’s pretty natural when the entire detox is liquid, but I had expected more bowel movements.  By the end of day-1, I still had no signs of losing bowels.

 

Day-2

By day-2 being on the detox plan, I began to get a little worried about my symptoms.  I was not only extremely sleepy, weak, and feeling zoned out, but now I was even having all-over body aches.

I truly felt like I was coming down with the flu and had planned to see my doctor the next day concerning all of my symptoms.

Once again, I decided to go online to pay my private “Fat Flush Nation” group and inquire about my issues.

I was told that all of my symptoms were perfectly normal while detoxing.  It was recommended for me to soak in an Epsom salt bath and take UniKey’s MagKey supplement, a magnesium supplement that apparently supports these types of problems.

I didn’t have that particular supplement, but I had a supplement containing magnesium, so I took that and soaked in a “very” hot Epsom salt bath for about 20 minutes.

It helped a great deal and I was happy to have the much-appreciated advice!

By the end of day-2, I finally had a bowel movement and although I’m not comfortable discussing it, you should know what to expect.

My stools were nearly black!  That’s right, black!  I just took it as, “I must’ve had a lot of toxins in my body to get rid of”.

 

Day-3

By day-3 of the detox, I started feeling rejuvenated!  My original symptoms faded away, leaving me in less pain and more active.

I felt like I could climb a mountain that night at work and other’s noticed my new energy!

It was a great feeling!

Being that I work 3rd shift, the last of my detox was during my 4:30 am break which consisted of the Skinny Smoothie.

That morning, I went home continued my normal routine by going to bed and slept my usual 7 hours.

Upon arising, I weighed myself to see my progress and discovered I had only lost .4 pounds.

At this point, disappointment set in hard!

Trying so hard to lose this unwanted extra weight I have gained and finding out this detox only helped me lose .4 pounds was not the “happy” news I was hoping for.

Fortunately, I measured my waist, hips, and belly before I started the detox so I could compare my results other than my weight.

I lost inches!

As you can see in the table, I lost 2 inches in my waist, 2 1/2 inches in my Belly, and 1 inch in my hips.

This was a remarkable surprise!

Remember, I also stated that I had more energy and felt more active as well.  The extra energy would help support my metabolism and giving my body the ability to burn more calories and fat.

In the end, I was not so disappointed in my results.  It’s not always about what the scale reads.

The main goal is to lose inches so clothes fit better again and our bodies appearing slimmer.
