    I’ve been wondering about the keto diet and if I can actually do it. It looks like The Keto Beginning would be a good place for me to start. I am glad to see that there are plenty of food choices with protein in them. Since I need about 150 grams of protein each day do you think the keto diet would work for me? Where would you suggest for me to start in my keto diet?

      So glad to hear from you. I never knew just how great this diet was until I recently started researching it. I think the High-protein Ketogenic Diet would work great for you which consist of: 60% Fat, 35% Protein, and 5% carbs. If you haven’t already, please visit my post; “What is Ketogenic Dieting?” I would first recommend that you join Keto Unlimited (Free) and then watch some of Leanne Vogel’s videos. Just search Healthful Pursuits in YouTube and you’ll find her videos. She explains things very well.

    Hi Devara, I’ve heard a lot about the Ketogenic Diet. I really need to turn things around but I always heard this diet is tough to stay on.
    You’ve really broken it down into something that’s easy to understand.
    So the 30 day plan…is it easy or a bit hard to stick with? I’d really like to give it a try!

      Thanks for visiting my site. From what I’ve read the 30 day plan is easy to follow but some people have a hard time adjusting to no carbs. Leanne Vogel has YouTube videos that explain all about being on the Keto Diet. There are ways around those craving for carbs, in fact I think her diet plan includes a “Carb Night”. I have access to the 30-Meal Plan, but haven’t had a chance to look at it yet.
      I will follow up with you after I’ve looked it over so I can provide you a brief description about what type of meals is in it. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask. If I don’t know the answers, I’ll certainly do my best to get them for you.

    Hi Devera, thank you for explaining it so well. In the past when I have had a look at this diet it seemed so restrictive and I didn’t think I would be eating anything other than bacon, bacon, bacon! The health benefits are so great that I would like to start but just a bit overwhelmed on how to start – what do you suggest?

      Thanks for stopping by and giving feedback. This diet is a great deal better than bacon, bacon, bacon… I thought the same thing. You are right, there is a lot to learn about the Keto Diet in order for it to be successful, but no need to be overwhelmed by it. Leanne Vogel explains everything in her “The Keto Beginning“. She also has a lot of great YouTube videos you can view anytime, just search YouTube for “Healthful Pursuit” and you’ll find them.
      For just starting out, I do recommend joining Keto Unlimited. It’s Free and she offers a lot of good information without paying for it. If you haven’t already done so, I have a post, “What is Ketogenic Dieting?” that may help you understand things a little better.
      Once you’ve reviewed some of her videos, her Keto Unlimited site, and my post about what ketogenic dieting is, if you feel more at ease, then maybe you would be interested in Leannes “The Keto Beginning” or her bundle package that includes “Fat Fueled”. Both look like great programs.

    I am full agreement with meal plans. Even though I’m up in the air concerning the Keto diet, I appreciate meal plans, grocery lists and examples. Most people don’t know what to do or where to start when it comes down to losing weight or choosing one great diet plan from the another.
