Not only is the turmeric root edible, it has a history of medicinal uses and can potentially improve many health conditions.

The main ingredient/chemical found in turmeric, curcumin, acts as a blood thinner and may naturally reduce the risk of clogged arteries, strokes, and heart attacks. It is advised that anyone taking blood thinning medications such as warfarin or preparing for surgery, should not take turmeric.
Curcumin found in turmeric may support blood pressure control, but further clinical research is required for a medical conclusion to this.
Can Potentially Decrease symptoms of depression & anxiety
As an acting antioxidant, Curcumin, found in turmeric, has the ability to fight chronic inflammation and can help relieve symptoms of depression.
Helps Support a Healthy Inflammatory Response
Curcumin found in turmeric has been displayed in several studies to be safe and effective in its use to support a healthy response to inflammation by potentially suppressing molecules that are known to play a major role.
Aid as a Cancer-preventive and natural pain-reliever
Turmeric may act as a cancer-preventive and pain-reliever, and an antioxidant, supporting the prevention of damaged cells from accumulated toxins and waste products.
Boosting skin health capabilities
The anti-inflammatory qualities in turmeric can target your pores and calm the skin. It can also support the reduction of scaring and acne. Turmeric is great to use as a face mask for these reasons.
May help manage diabetes
Studies have shown that curcumin can decrease the level of glucose in blood, thus playing a role in managing or preventing diabetes.
Helps to Reduce the growth of fat cells
Turmeric can help burn fat by preventing fat accumulation which accelerates diet-induced weight loss.
Can assist in Detoxing the body
Curcumin, rich in antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties helps turmeric be an important additive when detoxing. So kick-off your day with a great detox mixture; apple cider vinegar, turmeric, and lemon water.

Hi Devara!
Thanks for sharing this very informative article about turmeric and it’s uses and benefits. I know there are many turmeric supplements on the market, how do I know what makes some better than others?
I appreciate the other tips such as the face mask, too.
Thanks!
Hello Kyle Ann,
Thanks for visiting my site and leaving me feedback. When you search for the best supplement, the first thing I would look at is where is made within an FDA registered facility that follows GMP guidelines. You can usually tell if its a safe and good quality product if it has that on it. I hope to see you return soon.

This is what I call a comprehensive article, thank you for sharing valuable information.
To tell it with your own words: “I soon realized that being in my 40’s and staying in shape is going to take a lot more work and support.”
And the truth is that I am in my early forties and I still swim and play football, but clearly my body is not as ripped as it used to be ten years ago. I had been thinking of taking turmeric for a while, but I had kept myself from doing that because some self-proclaimed fitness gurus has advised me against it. Eventually, I decided to make my own judgment and started researching. I am glad I have found your website and I appreciate the fact that you published your sources. That proves that you are serious and honest about what you do.
I will keep coming back for more.
Hello Andrew,
I’m so glad you found my article helpful, honest, and informative. My site mission is to help others in the most honest way possible. I thoroughly research all of the products that I review, so that I can provide the best information possible for those reading it.
Turmeric Plus is a great supplement and very beneficial for health. Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback on my writing style and quality of my work. It helps to let me know I’m on the right track where my audience is concerned. I hope you return soon for more of my product reviews.

A lot of great information here. I knew some of these things about Tumeric but this was so infomative. I love that you cited your sources of information. It makes me feel like I’m reading trusted advice from a great source. Just excellent!
Hello Melanie,
Thanks for visiting my site. I so glad you found my post informative. Information I find about products I review is pulled from many different places. It is only fair to give credit or cite those sources. Thanks for having trust in my site.
Turmeric Plus is an excellent supplement with a lot of beneficial qualities. Sometimes it is more convenient taking turmeric in a supplement form, although there are many ways you could include it in the foods you eat while in its powder form.
I hope you stop back by again soon for more of my helpful finds.

You have laid out perfectly the benefits of this spice! I was unfortunately diagnosed with HBP and wanted to find a natural alternative after finding out about a recall for the HBP because it was found that there is an ingredient in some of these medicines that cause cancer. What!! You take one drug to get rid of a problem and it causes a worse problem. I am so glad I found your article. The benefits are innumerable. I will be looking into taking this everyday. What dosage do you reccomend?
Hello Davona,
Thanks for stopping by. I’m sorry you suffer from high blood pressure and were taking a product that was potentially harmful for you.
I do not have HBP, but from my research on Turmeric this may help regulate yours. The suggested dosage for Turmeric Plus is 2 capsules daily. 1 bottle would last 30 days.
I hope this you will return to my site again soon.
Best of health,
Devara
This product sounds really good and it’s something that I feel I could really benefit from for all of the health reasons you have listed above. Looks like it’s available in Australia too 🙂
Hello Helen,
I believe from what I’ve researched that we can all benefit from taking this Turmeric Plus Supplement in one way or another. Turmeric Plus is offered in a lot of countries, but not all of them. I’m glad it’s available in Australia, for your sake. I have had several visitors interested in this product that are in India where unfortunately, it is not available.
Thanks for visiting and please let know what you think if you give Turmeric Plus a try. I’d love to hear back from you.

There is a lot to swallow here, And I just thought that Turmeric was that one spice that No One ever used. I didn’t know that you could mix it with so many things or any of the health properties that go with it. I am going to try that Iron Blast smoothie out, it looks so good, I think i’ll try to have one for lunch tomorrow, especially at 500 calories, lol.
Hello Jonathan,
I have to admit, I learned a lot about turmeric when researching it for this article. My mom has been taking in powder form for a long while now, for her arthritis. She claims that it’s not really working for her, but what she didn’t know was that black pepper is what sets it off. Including black pepper can increase the benefits of turmeric by 2000%!
This is another reason Turmeric Plus is so awesome. You get everything you need in as capsule for all of its benefits. Here’s a quote taken directly from my post;
“BioPerine is a black pepper extract that allows turmeric to be absorbed into the body a lot faster; by 2000%!”
I strongly encourage you to try the Iron Blast Smoothie that includes organic turmeric powder, because it is delicious and low in calories, high in protein. Although I did not add black pepper to my recipe, it might be something to try after learning more about it.
Otherwise, Turmeric Plus supplement is a great alternative, easy to take without any hassle of mixing it in something.
Please stop back by and let us know what you think after you’ve had a chance to try the smoothie. I’d love to hear back from you!

Hello Marvin,
Thanks for sharing your experience with turmeric. I’ve never tried in a latte, but it sounds pretty tasty. I’m so glad to know that turmeric helps with you inflamation. It’s great knowing that we can get the same benefits in a capsule. From what others are saying, Turmeric Plus Supplement is a great product to try!
Please stop back by again soon.

Hey I just wanted to add, that I actually OWN that very brand of Turmeric. I swear by it as I work out a LOT (5 days a week) and it really helps with inflammation. One good thing about this brand, is it doesn’t upset my stomach or cause you to have “turmeric burps” throughout the day. I tried a bunch of different turmeric supplements and I really found lower priced ones had poor quality that upset my stomach and the vitabalance ones didn’t. Hope that helps for people deciding.
Hello Dave,
Thanks so much for your feedback. These are great things to know about this brand Turmeric. There are so many different brands available to choose from and your comment may just help people narrow it down sooner. I’m excited to try Turmeric Plus. Mine is in the mail and on its way to me now.
I have also ordered some for my mom to try for her arthritis. Hopefully it will help her inflammation and arthritis flare-ups.
Your information should help people when trying to decide on the best Turmeric. Thanks for your help.
