Drinks For Weight Loss -Boost Your Metabolism & Burn Fat

Matcha Green Tea Powder

There are a lot of drinks for weight loss that you may not be aware of. Some of them are super powerful by boosting your metabolism, increasing energy, burning fat, suppressing your appetite, and some of them will supply your body with added vitamins and nutrients that support a healthy lifestyle.

In this article, I plan to break it down for you “Drinks for Weight Loss – Boost Your Metabolism & Burn Fat.” I think you will be surprised.

Coffee

Black Coffee

Did you say Coffee? Yes, that’s right, coffee stimulates adrenaline, which sends a message to your fat stores to burn fat. What most people don’t realize is in order for it to do this it must be caffeinated and black.

Creamer of any kind reduces its fat-burning potential. Also, according to elle.com, drinking too much coffee in a day can have negative side effects by interfering with your body’s ability to regulate insulin.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar has been around for a very long time, but did you actually ever look at everything it’s good for? Yes, it’s a good supplement when trying to lose weight. It’s also good for your health, allergies, cholesterol, memory, UTI’s, arthritis, constipation, reduces pain, aids in preventing diseases, enhances our moods, and helps us sleep better.

Can you believe it? Wow! This stuff is good for the overall well-being! So why is there any left on the shelves in the grocery store? The only possible answers are, that people don’t know it’s that beneficial, or that they can’t stand the taste. I must admit that it is a hard taste to acquire, but when you just suck it up and take your daily dose, it’ll get easier to overcome that strong vinegar taste, especially when you notice the results!

Let me be the one to tell you, this stuff is great! It has proven everything it has to offer to me, personally. Since I’ve started taking 2 tablespoons three times a day for the last year, I haven’t been sick, I’ve never had high cholesterol, I definitely have less urinary tract infections, less constipation, and less pain from arthritis and inflammation.

I haven’t changed anything else in my lifestyle except for including ACV in my daily diet. It has to be why I am healthier, happier, and struggle with my normal daily issues much less now. I will keep taking it and recommend that you do. You will be glad that you did.

Lemon Water

Lemon Water

Lemon water is one of those drinks you never really thought would be so healthy for you. It doesn’t have a lot of taste, especially without adding sugar, but the taste isn’t that bad. It’s actually very refreshing! Drink it warm or ice-cold and receive the same benefits.Lemon

The nutritional value behind these bright yellow fruits are so beneficial for you that I’m not sure why everyone isn’t adding lemon to their water. They are packed with vitamin C; more vitamin C than what you can get from an orange! They will keep your skin healthier, aid in digestion, and can help you lose weight.

Besides all the vitamin C you get in a lemon, you will also get a healthy serving of potassium, magnesium, and copper. They even have some protein in them!

When you buy lemons by the bag full, they are fairly inexpensive. I buy mine at Lidl’s.

So why not pour you a glass of lemon water in the morning to start off your day right?

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil

Did you know how much good could come out of this lovely fruit? If you already include it in your daily diet, you probably already know, but for the rest of us, this is very new information! It hasn’t been long ago that my mom gave me a container of “pure coconut oil”. She said she tried to cook with it because it was said to be good for you, but she didn’t like the way it made her food taste.

So, me being me, I started to read about coconut oil and how good it is for your health, weight loss, and skin. I didn’t read enough to learn that it had to be a “Viva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil 16 Ounce“.

I just thought if I used this coconut oil my mom gave me, it would benefit me in all of these ways. I was adding it to my food, my hair conditioner, and my skin products before I researched it more and discovered I was using the wrong stuff to get the claimed benefits.

Please take it from me, when you hear something is beneficial for you, look into it a little; read, research, ask questions. Make sure you are taking the right supplement that is actually known to have the results you read about. Sometimes buying the cheaper Walmart brands will not always be worth buying if you want the advertised benefits.

Enjoy a glass of Oatmeal Water every day for a month for breakfast and watch the pounds come rolling off! Oatmeal is claimed to be one of the healthiest foods to eat. It’s high in Protein, fiber, and iron. There are a total of eight essential amino acids in oatmeal, which turns into a source of protein. It satisfies hunger for hours while boosting your metabolism giving you tons of energy to start your day. It’s heart healthy and good for our intestines by improving your digestion. The large amounts of omega 3 and linoleic acids, known as “good fat” found in oats, helps reduce bad cholesterol (LDL), which promotes heart and brain activities.

It stimulates the production of lectin in the liver, promoting the complete cleanse toxins from the body. It also helps control blood sugar levels; great for people suffering from diabetes.

Oats are considered a superfood because they are 100% whole grain and contain necessary vitamins and minerals. The fiber in oats is not just ordinary fiber, its soluble fiber which can help to lower cholesterol re-absorption.

Oats also contains B vitamins that help maintain and balance the functioning of the nervous system. It can prevent thyroid problems, osteoporosis, help you lose weight, and boost energy levels.  Click here for a my Cinna-Sugar-n-Oat smoothie.

You should drink oatmeal water on an empty stomach for a full month to lose weight. Take one cup of oatmeal, one cinnamon stick and two liters of water, pour into a blender, mix and drink. If you don’t want any oats in the water that you drink, you can first strain the mixture before drinking. See this site for a great daily diet with oatmeal water: Click Here.

Tomato Juice

Tomato Juice

Tomato juice is not just an ordinary juice. It is considered a superfood because of its powerful nutrients. Tomatoes are rich in vitamins, minerals and phytonutrient content. It also contains a powerful antioxidant known as lycopene, found to promote good general health. According to v8juice.co blog, the processing of tomatoes increases the concentration of bioavailable lycopene by up to four times, making tomato juice a better dietary source of lycopene than fresh tomatoes.

Some scientists believe that lycopene is the agent in tomatoes that prevents certain cancers. Cooking tomatoes doubles the effect of lycopene. So go fix you some vegetable soup with lots of tomatoes in it for dinner, just be careful with the sodium. Drinking tomato juice or eating it after its been cooked is a lot better for you than just eating a fresh tomato from the garden. Drinking tomato juice can also help protect people against immune system deficiencies. The health benefits are unlimited!

I personally drink 2 servings (16 Oz.) of Low-Sodium V-8 Juice as my lunch supplement. It’s easy to take to work, it gives me added energy, it’s 4 servings of vegetables, and only 90 Calories! V8- Low Sodium

Tomato juice also contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12. This is one big reason why tomato juice is considered a superfood/drink. The health benefits from B vitamins alone include increased energy, healthy nervous system, good digestion and healthy skin, hair, and nails.

Bone Broth

Bone broth

Bone Broth has incredible health benefits. According to Dr. Axe, bone broth treats leaky gut syndrome, can overcome food intolerance & allergies, improve joint health, reduce cellulite, and boost immune system.

Bone broths are nutrient-dense, easy to digest, rich in flavor and they boost healing. Don’t feel like making your own, chicken soup broth can be a good substitute. But to get the full benefits you need to try the real bone broth. Dr. Axe has a recipe for making it yourself; click Chicken Bone Broth Recipe or for beef, click Beef Bone Broth Recipe.

Lose Up To 13 LBS & 7 Inches overall in your first month with Turbo13 at Nutrisystem.com!

By Devara

I live in North Carolina and I recently graduated in May 2017, from Davidson County Community College with a degree in Network and Cyber Security. I love working on websites and doing research which brings me here. I didn’t know much about fitness and everything involved in it to be fit. I soon realized that being in my 40’s and staying in shape is going to take a lot more work and support. That’s when I decided to build my website around my personal problem areas, with hopes that I will not only get rid of mine, but help others as well.

    1. Hello Angee,
Thanks for being my first visitor! Much appreciated! I’m glad you liked my article. I love the idea of all of those drinks, but I honestly haven’t tried all of them yet. I do have plans to try them all though. I do believe I will like every one of them. My only concern is how to fit them all into my daily diet of drinks. I guess I will have to pick certain days for certain drinks.

Thanks and please let me know if you try any of them and how you liked it.

  1. Hi Devara,
congratulation to a great post. All the drinks you introduce makes me mouthwatering, and the way you describe what what they do to improve the health of the body in really convincing. I especially liked what you said about red wine. Now I have an excuse to empy a bottle.
Carr<y on with the good work.
    Kind regards
    Hellmut

    1. Thanks Hellmut, for visiting my site and taking the time to leave a comment. I’m glad you enjoyed this article or should I say review? There are so many different drinks that are good fat burning, metabolism boosting, and energizing that its hard to know which one is best! I plan to try them all and come back to this post with my opinion on each one.
I love red wine and was amazed to find it helpful when burning fat, but keep in mind that it does say to drink it moderately.
These drinks would be even more beneficial when combined with an exercise plan.
      Thanks again and take care,
      Devara

  2. HI Devera! I absolutely love this article! And am thrilled to see I am already drinking many of the healthy options you have provided. I drink ACV too but just before bed with a bit of stevia. I find that it lowers my blood sugar while I fast overnight and it also helps build healthy gut bacteria. Just amazing stuff! Thanks for posting this information and including red wine in the mix. Love it!

    1. Hello Lyndsay,
I’m so glad you enjoyed my article! Thanks for visiting my site and leaving me a thoughtful comment.
I had never heard of a lot of these drinks, especially some if the teas. I will be trying all of them and will leave my opinions about each of them on this article.
ACV is very good to me in a lot of ways. It’s strange though, it’s recommended to take a dose at bedtime. I found that it keeps me awake. It gives me too much of a boost, so I’ve found other times in the day to get mine in.
Stop back by again soon. I have a Superfoods article coming soon.
      Devara

  3. Hello Everyone,
I just had to share this. I strive to be as honest as I can when writing my articles. Since I personally have not tried a lot of the drinks I’ve talked about here in this article, I plan to in the near future.
Jessica, from Revital U has sent me some of her samples that I will try out next week. Please let me know if you are interested and I will get some samples for you as well.
I’ve also ordered, from my very own Amazon links, the Matcha Tea and the Rooibos Tea that I will try the following weeks. I will then follow by trying oatmeal water, bone broth, and white tea.
I will be adding to my article my true opinions about these as I try them.
Please check back in soon to see my honest opinions about each of these.
    Thanks,
    Devara

  4. I received my 3 day free samples of Revital U from Jessica and lost a pound a day for the 3 days that I drank it! It tastes great without cream or sugar and it gave me the boost I needed to get me through the day without my regular coffee.
Please let me know if your are interested in getting your 3 day samples.
    Thanks,
    Devara
