Smoothie Recipes with Protein
What makes this smoothie so special? It's delicious!
The perfect blend of strawberries, blueberries, and beets makes this smoothie unique from just any healthy smoothie.
Strawberries have been researched and discovered they reduce blood sugar and insulin levels.
Blueberries are belly fat fighters. They are high in antioxidants; meaning they prevent cell damage and protect against several types of chronic diseases.
Beets in a Smoothie??
Why not?
Beets contain nutrients that are essential to your daily intake. They have B vitamins, iron, manganese, copper, magnesium, and potassium in them.
lose weight on a Beet Diet…
Yes, you can lose weight on a Beet diet.
Beets have fewer calories, although they contain a lot of sugar.
That is why it is recommended to eat them in the earlier part of the day. They also contain 1.5 grams of dietary fiber, which leaves you feeling full for a longer period of time.
Beets are considered a vegetable and one that I consider as a superfood.
They provide energy, can treat anemia, blood diseases and are rich in several of the B vitamins. Beets are also a great source for iron, benefiting those who struggle with low iron.

I am a lover of smoothies and will give this recipe a try Will probably substitute the soy with real milk though. Nothing wrong with soy i’m just not a fan personally. Other than that I am down for this smoothie.
Hello Tim,
Thanks for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy this smoothie when you have tried it. If you don’t like soy milk you may like almond milk instead. Just a suggestion. Please let me know what you think.
Best of health,

I have used beets in my kids’ smoothie before, and they didn’t take the strong earthy smell and taste too well. No matter how I try to hide it in sweeter stuff like orange, mango, etc. they still can see it, there’s no way I can hide the colour! But I still kept on trying because I know what a powerhouse of nutrients beets are. So I will give your recipe a try too!
