Great post and a beautiful website. Good Job!
Thanks, Phil, for the “fill-good” comment! I appreciate the compliment. I’m glad you enjoyed my article.
Best of health,
Great post and recipe. I will definitely try it though I am very careful about which bouillon cubes I use as many are loaded with MSG. It is really hard once in your 40’s to take off weight like when we were younger.
How have you gotten started? I was on noom and it works. I need to get back on that plan.
Thanks for the great comment!
In regards to your comment, I also have articles about Noom and their 14-day trial!
Which if you have already been a member, you may not be able to do the trial.
Here are my links (the 2nd one is one of my post where I’ve included the printable grocery list, by their unique color system;
As for the 7-day soup diet, yes I’m doing the soup diet now. This will be my second week. The food is delicious, especially the lunches and dinners.
I haven’t noticed much in the way of weight loss yet, but I had surgery in September and gained 10 pounds from being out of work and not able to move around much.
So, I think the diet will take me some time. I just started walking on my treadmill again and back to work last night (1st night back after 8 weeks out). I work 3rd shift and now I’ll have to readjust my sleep schedule again.
Hopefully, I’ll start to lose weight this week, but probably have a better chance, starting next week.
MSG is new to me. I’ve always meant to research that, but haven’t yet.
You can buy low sodium chicken broth in cartons as well. I just know my mom has always used the cubes, so that’s what I used. Maybe I’ll try the store-bought next time I make a new batch of soup which will be very soon.
I have published DAY 1 and DAY 2 of the diet if you would like to see what it’s like.
Please let me know if I can provide you with any more information or help answer any questions.
Best of health,
Devara, thank you for your reply. Noom is a great program. You get personalized coaching with it as well. I didn’t think I would be able to do well on it but I did. They make it easy to track calories. Really, you can eat what you want if you stay within your daily caloric target.
I am hoping that you provide us updates on how the soup diet is going. I find that many times I just need a change in approach in order to jump start myself. And, yes, the big brand commercial cubes are loaded with MSG. There are some natural ones, including liquid bouillon in a jar, that are MSG free.
Great stuff. I’m following your success!
You’re welcome, Randy. Glad to help!
Yes, Noom is great! I love my personal coach! The support and encouragement from the coaches and groups help tremendously. I’m happy we have that in common.
I would love it if you share my Noom article and links with family and friends.
And please, also let me know if I can help in any way. I’m here for you!
I appreciate you letting me know to watch out for MSG. I’ll start looking for products with less MSG in them.

Best of health,
Forget my ignorance, but is this soup all you are supposed to eat for a week? I’d like to know.
As a person who’s constantly struggled with his weight, I’m always looking for ways to stay healthy. I’ve tried so many diets that I’m sick of all of them. I’d like to know more about your experience.
Thanks for sharing.
No need to apologize! From what the title reads, most would assume that eating soup all week for every meal was the diet program. But in this case, it isn’t that way.
The Amazing Soup Diet Plan, “Plan” being the keyword, is just that. The basic vegetable soup will be part of every dinner, but there are breakfast and lunches planned out for you as well.
This diet is so easy because it’s whole foods that keep you full and they are actually very delicious! I’m on my 2nd week eating this diet plan and love it.
They even have a section for on going weeks, swapping foods with different foods so that you won’t get tired of the same thing, as well as healthy snacks to eat in between meals.
As a bonus, well I feel like it’s a bonus, there are many dinner recipes that are “Star Chef” recipes. I haven’t had a chance to try any of them yet, but here there are recipes for healthy; Emeril Lagasse’s Creole Super Soup, Lidia Bastianich’s Mussel Super Soup, and Ming Tsai’s Hot-and-Sour Super Soup.
I can’t wait to dig into those!
This ebook is packed with diet menus, healthy snacks, food swaps, and a grocery list for everything you need to get started all for just $2.99! The list of foods you should buy lasts longer than a week too! I’ve only shopped once and almost completed my 2nd week.
I even have included a printable grocery list in this article, (CLICK HERE).
Please let me know if I can help in any other way.
Thanks for your feedback and for showing interest in this plan. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Best of health,
Oh, that makes sense. So I would be eating that soup along with every meal. I think I could do that. This plan sounds interesting. I will look into it and might give it a try. Thanks for clarifying.
You’re welcome, Enrique.
I’m glad I could help clear up your confusion about this diet. If you would like to try one of the recipes before buying the ebook, I have posted an article about DAY 2 of the 7-day soup diet.
The entire menu is great, but I highly recommend the lunch; Caprese Salad, especially with Roast Garlic Hummus, found at Aldi’s (if you have one of those in your area).
Please let me know if I can help in any other way.
Best of luck on your weight loss journey!
