Do you suffer from having Low Iron?

The average daily iron intake from foods and supplements is anywhere from 17 mg – 20 mg per day depending on if you are male or female, child, or pregnant.

This smoothie has enough iron in it to last you the entire day!

I created this smoothie myself, finding great ingredients that include iron are have other nutritional values.  I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Above all Else…

I lost 4 pounds in the two days that I substituted Iron Blast Smoothie in the place of dinner!  Give it a try!  You’ll love it!

I live in North Carolina and I recently graduated in May 2017, from Davidson County Community College with a degree in Network and Cyber Security. I love working on websites and doing research which brings me here. I didn’t know much about fitness and everything involved in it to be fit. I soon realized that being in my 40’s and staying in shape is going to take a lot more work and support. That’s when I decided to build my website around my personal problem areas, with hopes that I will not only get rid of mine, but help others as well.

  2. Hello Mary Beth,
Thanks for stopping by! I’m glad you found my article helpful. I recently found out about the lovely spice called “Turmeric.” If you would like more information about it, you may like Dr. Axe’s post about it; https://draxe.com/turmeric-benefits/
    It has so many benefits other than iron and inflammation;
    May prevent blood clots
    Reduces Depression Symptoms
    Boost Skin Health
    Good for Arthritis
    Can prevent certain cancers

Just be careful when you are using it. It stains towels, bowls, counter-tops. etc.. In fact, it has been used as a stain because of this.

    Thanks for visiting my site!

    Best of health,
    Devara

  3. I like the sound of this smoothie!
I have only tried chia seeds a few times but I know that they have healthy benefits.
This smoothie certainly would give a boost of iron as well as protein.
Thanks for sharing this healthy recipe!

    1. Hi Jesse Lee,
Thanks for your feedback. This smoothie really helps with energy and boosting metabolism! It provides a heavy dose of iron and protein, keeping you full longer.
Chia seeds are new to me as well. After soaking them in water and putting them in the smoothie, you can’t even tell they are in there.
Although it does have many ingredients, it gets the job done!
      Best of health,
      Devara
